Road Closures for Remembrance Parade on Sunday 10 November
The Annual Remembrance Parade from Helping Hands to the Cenotaph Garden will take place on Sunday 10 November. To keep the cadets who will be marching on the route safe, Edlington Lane and roads leading on to Edlington Lane will be closed. The Advance Warning Signs of the road closures have been placed on the road today.

Edlington Salutes Ron Flowers MBE
On Friday 4 October 2024, the Town Council, Civic Mayor of Doncaster, Representatives from the FA, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Doncaster Rovers FC, members of the Flowers Family, Edlington White Stars, and students from Hill Top Academy and Sir Thomas Wharton's Academy all gathered in the Martinwells Centre for the unveiling of a plaque to honour the achievements of Edlington born Ron Flowers MBE.

Proposed Replacement Constitution for Group 1 Allotments
The Committee of Group 1 Allotments are holding a Special General Meeting on Monday 14 October. The purpose of the meeting is to consider replacing the Group's existing constitution. The proposed replacement constitution is provided.

Harvest Festival Sunday 29 September
St John the Baptist's Church will be holding a Harvest Festival on Sunday 29 September at 9.15 am. All food donations will be given to ECO and Helping Hands.

Updated Allotment Rules - September 2024
On 21 August the Allotment Committees and the Town Council discussed changes to the Allotment Rules. The changes agreed include
- the introduction of probation periods for new allotment holders;
- actions to be taken if an allotment tenancy is terminated with immediate effect, and
- limits on the number of fruit trees that can be planted on plots
